A common misunderstanding with Hospice is that when a loved one, family one, or friend is passing – Hospice sends in 24/7 care. Hospice (and we have great agencies in and around the Charlotte and upstate SC region) Agencies most often do not provide 24/7 or shift care. Thus, we are a partner with many of the hospice agencies within the area. ComForcare caregivers are able to come in and provide 24/7, Live-In, or shift care as part of end-of-life care in conjunction with Hospice Care. In fact, we train our caregivers on Hospice Care both internally within the company and through outside agencies like Hospice & Palliative Care of Charlotte. We can provide Sitting/Companionship or full Personal Care (CNA Level) to people in their homes, at retirement communities, skilled nursing communities, or even hospitals.
