Payment Options for Charlotte Assisted Living, Charlotte Dementia Care, & our other Services

ComForcare Home Care requires a two week deposit to start service for all clients. Options for payment either a Deposit or regular or bi-weekly billing is listed below for your reference. ComForcare bills every two weeks for service and payment is expected either immediately or within 10 days of the billing date. Deposit and/or Payment Options include the following:

Private Pay – We accept Cash, Checks, Electronic Payment, and even Wire Transfers

Credit Cards - Almost all forms of credit cards are accepted

Long Term Care Insurance

Long Term Care Insurance will pay for Non-Medical Home Care. Policies such as Genworth, John Hancock, Met Life, Banker’s Life etc. etc. are just a few of the many that will pay for Caregivers to come into the home providing care supervised by a licensed Home Care Agency.

Accidental Insurance or Worker’s Comp Insurance

ComForcare works with both types of insurance plans. Please inquire more about this with our staff.

Veteran Affair Programs

The two main policies include Aide & Attendance and Home Companion Services. Please inquire to our office staff more about both and how you might go about qualifying for these benefits either as a Vet or the Widow of a Spouse.

Medicaid or CAP (NC)

ComForcare is an approved vendor for Medicaid in the state of NC and is licensed to provide both PCS and CAP (county based) services for individuals within our region. Recently assessments and approval for both must now be done by CCME. Please inquire to our office staff how best to hear about this.

Please note that both interest and late penalties are assessed to individuals not paying on time. ComForcare requires that 24 hour notice be given, to the office, to either end or change the working hours for a caregiver. Please be sure to contact the office as soon as either situation arises. In addition, ComForcare may also request additional deposit (than the original 2 weeks) if hours for the case have changed during the course of care.
